DESCRIPTION:The Ohio Valley Promenaders offer line dance and square dance lessons on Tuesdays in the Community Room on the lower level of the Bellaire Public Library. The lessons are open to all ages. While many of the Promenaders are seasoned pros\, the group is always accepting new members and the first lesson is free! The Holey Rollers Donut Truck will be at the Library to help us celebrate the Kick-Off of Summer Reading 2025\, Wednesday\, June 4th\, at 1 pm. Stop by to buy a donut\, or better yet\, register for Summer Reading and complete activities at our designated stations to earn a free\, delicious Holey Rollers donut!* \nComplete Each Station to Earn a Delicious Holey Rollers Donut:\n\nMake your Summer Reading character\n(Kids: a crayon; Teens and Adults: a pot ‘o gold rainbow)\nDesign your own “Color Our World” Summer Reading tote bag to carry books throughout the summer\nLearn how to track your reading (either on paper bookmarks or through the ReadingZone app)\nGet your picture taken in one of our photo op cutouts\n(Bob Ross and a carton of crayons)\n\n\nNOTE: Donuts will be available for the general public to purchase from the Holey Roller Donut Truck. All attendees will receive a base number of tickets plus additional tickets earned throughout the summer. Tickets can be used to play games for prizes\, may be exchanged for food\, or can be used for a chance to soak Children’s Specialist Miss Bri with a water balloon! \nReading Goals:\nUpon registering\, each reader will have a paint can placed on one of our reading boards. Each reader will also be sent home with a reading log bookmark. For every ten minutes you spend reading\, you will color a paintbrush on the reading log. Each paintbrush will earn you one sticker to place on your paint can. 10 stickers earn you another paint can to place on the reading board. Each paint can you earn throughout the summer will get you an extra ticket to use for our Summer Reading Finale Carnival or to pick prizes if you can’t attend the Finale.

SUMMARY:Summer Reading Finale Carnival
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our Summer Reading Finale Carnival! All attendees will receive a base number of tickets plus additional tickets earned throughout the summer by reading. Tickets can be used to play games for prizes\, may be exchanged for food\, or can be used for a chance to soak Children’s Specialist Miss Bri with a water balloon! We’ll have a bounce house\, carnival games\, hot dogs from Gulla’s\, cookies from Giovanni’s Bakery\, and we will announce this summer’s top readers!
