Bellarie\, Ohio\, has a proud Italian heritage\, preserved by the descendants of an immigrant community who arrived in the early 1900s\, seeking work in coal mines and glass factories\, bringing their Italian culture with them. The local Bellaire Sons of Italy Lodge (Lodge #754) has been a pillar of the Italian community since its chartering in 1917\, providing a space for social events\, cultural classes\, and fundraising for other organizations.  \nRemember that while the Library closes for holidays\, our digital services are always available 24/7 with your library card.
