Michael Kole, Historian with the Midwest Railway Preservation Society (midwestrailway.org) in Cleveland, has done extensive research about the Cleveland, Lorain & Wheeling Railway, the railway that spanned the Lake Erie to the Ohio River crossing over to Wheeling. Michael reached out to the Bellaire Public Library while he was digging into the history of the CL&W depot in Bellaire. Michael has graciously offered to share his research with us in his presentation, “All Aboard The CL&W Railway,” Saturday, April 26 at 1 pm.
