Maker's Space
We are excited to offer a small Maker’s Space at the Bellaire Public Library. This is something that is new and we would like to continue to grow our offerings. If you have a suggestion for our Maker’s Space, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.
Cricut Machine
The Cricut Expression is an electronic cutting machine that allows you to cut out shapes, letters, and phrases from a variety of materials, such as cardstock, vinyl, vellum, fabric, chipboard, and even thin foils. The Library has a variety of Cricut cartridges with preprogrammed images to use with the machine.
Lightbox
Need to trace something for a craft project? Or maybe you have old photo negatives or slides you’d like to photograph. Use our lightbox located on the upper-level maker space area of the library just beyond the elevators.
Typewriter
Looking to add that old-timey feel to a project? Or just looking to fill out a form the old-school way? We have just the “write type” of thing for you: an IBM Wheelwriter 6. You provide the paper, we’ll provide the clickety-clack machine!
