Bellaire Public Library is proud to announce a new opportunity for adult learners in our community: the Excel Adult High School Online Program! This accredited, flexible, and 100% online high school completion program is designed specifically for adults who wish to earn their high school diploma and open new doors to employment, college, and personal growth.
Why Excel Adult High School?
- Fully accredited and recognized nationwide
Students earn an accredited online high school diploma (not a GED) aligned to national standards and accepted by employers, colleges, and the military. - Designed for adult learners with busy lives
Courses are self-paced and accessible 24/7. Students can choose from over 40 high-interest electives relevant to fast-growing occupations, including science, technology, and health care. - Supportive academic coaching and resources
Students have access to academic coaches, who are subject matter specialists and state-certified educators with classroom experience. A success coach will assist students with course selection and college planning or career guidance.

To help make this opportunity even more accessible, Bellaire Public Library will sponsor one qualified adult to enroll in the program at no cost. If you’ve been thinking about finishing high school, now is the perfect time to take that first step.

Interested applicants must apply by Saturday, August 31, 2025 to be considered for the sponsored spot. Applicants must be 18+ and have been out of school for at least six months. Eligibility requirements apply, and space is limited—so don’t wait!
