Hunter Miller Flood Collection

The Hunter Miller Flood Collection consists of black-and-white photographs taken by an unknown photographer in Bellaire, Ohio, during the 1936 flood.

This photo collection includes flood scenes at Nelson Field, Imperial Glass, and West Bellaire School, each showing flooding in the McMahon Creek area. There are also numerous flooded street scenes throughout Bellaire, Ohio, including Union Street, Noble Street, Crescent Street, 27th Street, and 38th Street, with flooding to the Pennsylvania Railroad Station, the Windsor Hotel, Waterworks Plant, B & O railroad tracks, railroad bridge, and flooded river scenes taken from the Interstate Bridge.

Unrelated photographs include a birthday party with local Bellaire bank officials and the demolition of the Buckeye Bank Building.
